Crystal stadiumsFootball stadiums for various football clubs are among the unique products made from Czech Preciosa crystal. They are created based on photographs and other materials that mainly elaborate the details of each building or structure. They take about two months to complete and require precise work by the glassmakers and a great deal of patience by the gluers during the final assembly. Some of the stadiums are decorated with more than 7000 chaton roses and the gluing alone accounts for more than 40 hours of work. The result is a unique glass stadium that weighs almost 7 kg.
Technologies involving 3D printing, polishing, water jet cutting, sandblasting, gluing and the application of a nanopaint coating are used during the production of each stadium. Each individual stadium is original not only due to its shape and colour, but also because the designer always tries to depict the environment and the landscape that the given stadium is located in as faithfully as possible.
